On May 1, 2003 after lying in dust and silence for 27 years, the Carlu once again opened its celebrated doors to host the black-tie, 25th anniversary of The Canadian Business Hall of Fame Awards. Two nights later, The Carlu threw its own gala with 1,500 guests in attendance, deemed "the party of the decade" by international guests and media alike. The ghost of Lady Eaton - sharing residency on the floor - smiled benevolently, knowing her dream of bringing high soceity and culture to the city had once again been realized.
The Venue has since hosted a list of high profile social, corporate and cultural events including Canada's top financial institutions; private dinners, weddings, bar/bat mitzvahs; feature film shoots; as well as a multitude of charity galas. Canada's business elite, Toronto's cognoscenti and those with a discerning eye for style, elegance and the ultimate in service and ambience, have selected the Carlu as the city's best for their special event.
