A Journey Through The Carlu
Oliver & Bonacini Hospitality invited Toronto’s top wedding planners and industry leaders to take a journey through The Carlu. Upon arrival, guests were quickly greeted with Champagne and passed canapés like sweet corn arancini and pork wontons, as an acoustic guitar trio played in the centre of the Grand Foyer.
The O&B events team led the group of influencers into the Round Room, where they enjoyed an amuse bouche of Atlantic lobster tea sandwiches, plates of tuna tartare, and lemon ricotta ravioli. As they made their way through the Clipper Room, Executive Chef Christopher Palik prepared the intermezzo of liquid nitrogen Mandarin orange sorbetto.
Over in the Concert Hall, guests were seated at a beautifully decorated harvest table for the main course: chicken and truffle ballontine with braised short rib tortellini. Meanwhile, a 10 piece band played in the background. To end the evening, guests indulged in decadent desserts, including white chocolate baby wedding cakes, in front of the Satellite Stage. Guests were invited to pack up a few sweets in take-away boxes to enjoy later – the perfect way to look back on a magical evening!
